We would like to inform you that in the current situation due to the spread of virus Covid-19, Tullow Mountaineering Club is temporarily suspending all club sanctioned walks until further notice. Wednesday 18th March - Evening Hike - contact Barry on 086-1098244, Meeting at Askea Church Car Park at 6.20 pm for car pooling and departing at 6.30 pm ( THE USUAL CAR POLICY HAS BEEN CHANGED DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TO A MAXIMUM OF TWO MEMBERS PER CAR AND WE ARE ENCOURAGING THE PASSENGER TO SIT IN THE BACK SEAT) Friday 20th March - Night Hike - Contact John on 086-2772633 for more details. Sunday 22nd March - Medium Hike in the Wicklow Mountains - contact Ann on 087-8712318, Walkers are meeting at Barrack Street, Carlow for car pooling and departing at (please note earlier starting time) 08.30 am sharp. Newcomers to all walks are welcome and are advised to phone the contact person in advance and best to arrive 10 mins prior to the departure time. For all hikes please ensure you have the appropriate clothing and footwear with you as well as bringing a torch for the evenings.
