Walk plans for weekend 26th-28th April 2013

On Friday 26th Apr. Joe Codd  is leading in The Blackstairs and the
group meets in the Co-Op yard in Bunclody at 7pm.

On Sun. 28th John will be leading a medium plus walk (please be aware that that it is planned to have two ascents and
two descents weather permitting) in the Comeraghs. We leave Barrack Street at  9.30am for the Mahon Falls.

Walk on Wed. 17th April is cancelled due to weather.

In the interest of health and safety the walk planned for Wed. 17th April is cancelled. The Met office has forecasted very strong winds in the area. The walk on Wed. 24th April will start in the same place (near Kiltealy) as was planned for the 17th.

Sunday club walk in the Comeragh's

 Many thanks to John Byrne for a wonderful easy walk in the Comeragh's . The hills were very windy and John elected to play it safe and not take the planned route over the ridge's . Alas the sports tracker and the iphone ran out of battery so we were not able to fully track the route of Sundays walk .All together we reckon to of covered up to 12 km across some wonderful scenery the country has to offer. See the some of the pictures below .
