ON WEDNESDAY THE 20TH OF APRIL, THE TULLOW MOUNTAINEERING CLUB ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN TOOK PLACE.4/5/2022 There was a great turnout for the Tullow Mountaineering Annual Spring Clean on the Blackstairs Mountains on Wednesday 20th April 2022 . Many Thanks to The Blackstairs Ramblers , 795 Cycling Club, The ML Syndicate Mountain Biking Club, Raheenleigh/ Blackstairs Farming Futures, Mick Monaghan , local Farmers who all joined TMC for a hugely successful clean up of the Mount Leinster area . Also sincere thanks to Jannette Ò Brien Environmental Awareness Officer with Carlow County Council for all her help & support for the event . Unfortunately , the Mountain was more heavily littered than usual with vast amounts of domestic & commercial waste. We must all be vigilant & work together to stamp out the disgusting practice of illegal dumping & fly-tipping in The Blackstairs Mountains.. Many Thanks “ leave no trace” |
