We headed for the Comeraghs and in towards the Mahon falls and cut up to the gully on the left hand side, This gully is normally only a grade 1 gully but with the conditions of today it was up a grade or one and half!
Tommy led the way to the top and was hard to keep up with!! (oh you can't beat youth) we were hammered by wind and driving rain / sleet on the top as we made our way over to the Tay valley.
We headed an down the easy gully where we had some lunch, when it started to snow. We looked at a few gully's and went up the one on the left hand side but the snow was starting to freeze and conditions turned rough where we decided to call it a day and head back out the valley floor to the car in the Mahon valley
All got back safe and sound and looking forward to the next day on the hills!!
