Sunday 28th Aug 2015 - Medium walk in Wicklow Mtns - Leaving Barrack Street Carlow at 9.30 am - meeting up for car pooling at 9.20am - Contact Albert - 087-2575286 - See following note: This a liner walk starting at the Sally Gap and finishing in Ballyknockan village. We will drive to Ballyknockan and from there we will be taken by bus to the start. We will traverse Carrigavoher, Gravale, Duffy Hill , Mullaghcleevaun East, Mullaghcleevaun, Moanbane and descending into Ballyknockan. The walk is 17.5kms long, with a total ascent of about 800mts and should take about 6 hours to complete. The bus is a 16 seater and is costing €60 to hire, so Albert will need to know who will be travelling by Friday next.
